Testing only where it earns its place

If objective testing or rating scales will sharpen the picture, we use them. If not, we do not.

STEP 04

A written plan, and follow-through

You leave with a plan in writing and a clear next review, not a prescription and a shrug.

Before you book

How quickly can I be seen?

Call the office and ask. Availability moves week to week, and we would rather give you a straight answer on the phone than a promise on a web page. The office aims to call you back within the hour.

Do you see children as well as adults?

Yes. Dr. Loungani is board-certified in both Child & Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry, so the same physician can see your child, your teenager and you.

Is the first 15-minute consult really free?

Yes. It is a short phone call so you can describe what is going on and we can tell you honestly whether we are the right fit before anyone books anything.

What if I have already seen a psychiatrist?

That is most people who call us. Bring what you have: previous notes, what was tried and what happened. It usually shortens the road rather than lengthening it.

Can appointments be by video?

Yes, across Florida. Some people do the first appointment in person and follow-ups by video. Others are telehealth throughout.
