Common questions

Collaboration & medical direction, answered

What does collaboration include?
Collaborating physician agreements where your state requires them, chart review and QA, protocols, and access to case consultation. Mentoring is built into all of it.
How does chart review work?
We agree how chart review will run during onboarding, based on what your state requires. Every review comes with feedback and the reasoning behind it, so it builds your clinical decision-making, not just a signature.
What is the difference between collaboration and medical director?
Collaboration is for practicing NPs and PMHNPs who need a collaborating physician. Medical director is for NP-owned practices and clinics that need physician medical direction, oversight and protocols for the practice. Some practices need both, and we cover that on the intro call.
How quickly can we get started?
It depends on your state's requirements and the paperwork involved. You get a realistic timeline on your intro call, before you commit to anything.
Do you work with NPs outside Florida?
Yes. Collaboration is available across many states. Rules vary by state (for example, Florida's autonomous APRN pathway), so we provide physician collaboration and medical director services where required by your state. Tell us where you practice and we will confirm.
